Sorry I have been a bit busy and have not been keeping you up to date.
We have got past the panic stage and we are now in the severe panic stage. Really starting to run out of time so any spare minute has been spent painting and building.
It all needs to be finished by next Wednesday or my brother will be painting on the way down to London in the car.
Anyway some photos.
My brother trying out the airbrush

Painting progress

A jet pack

A storage area for jet packs

The other one

In place

First attempt at the plane was not to good just hand painted it

So I thought I would try airbrushing it

Some of the bits and pieces painted by my brother :o :o :o

That all for now. There has been some more painting since these photos. All of the main bits have all there base colours. It is just painting the smaller details now.

That is absolutely amazing! Any chance of getting some good hi-res photos of the game in action? If so, I'd love to put them in the 2nd edition of .45 Adventure.

You sure it wouldn't scare people away, since not everybody is fit to build the work of gods?  ;D

Some of the more normal, house hold, stuff is dolls house furniture. 1/48th scale.
Other stuff is scratch built.

Colin, did you by any chance have an unsatisfied craving for a doll's house when you were a little boy?  ;)

Seriously, it is an astonishing and lovingly detailed construction. Hope you get it finished in time to your satisfaction! Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh next week  :)

how fitting on the 80th aniversary of the crash of the R101... I live close to the Cardington Airship hangers which still hold some airships. I was lucky to see Zepplin 2 the German Airship before they shipped it off to the states.  I have some pictures of them in the hangers I'll dig them out.  These are The Cardington hangers and for scale you can see a car in front. The right hanger is used for films and the left is used for airships and has a couple inside (airship industries have two development ships in the hanger.)

I propose a world tour of the Zeppelin!

Great job :D really, I can't even put into words how incredible this undertaking is... and the level of workmanship.
