Of late I have been mostly painting Gothic Horror stuff.  A kind of Hammer Horror phase.   :)

Right up there as I would expect but love the base composition and combination of the pieces.

Fantastic work Orctrader. Is that a commission work or a figures you will keep for your own collection?

Beautiful Vampire, OT! :-*

It's nice to finally see a handsome elegant one without the ridiculous tusks that so may sculptors seem to prefer...

Nice use of the excellent Reaper bat swarm in the background of the composition, too!

Very nice, like Svenn I really like the base. And there's nothing wrong with a bit of "Hammer Horror" :D

Fantastic paint job!!!  :-* :-* :-*

And there's nothing wrong with a bit of "Hammer Horror" :D

... except of the fact that some of their films are still not available on DVD ;)

Thanks for commenting everyone.  Glad you like it.   :)

Not a commission - in fact I accept very few, too little time to paint and I try to avoid deadlines.  Not sure about my own collection either.   :?  I had plans to do a few vignettes this year, of which this is one.  I might keep it, or I might Ebay it.  Not sure.  For me the real pleasure is in the actual painting or, as with this piece, turning the original idea into the vignette.  Continued ownership of the finished figure(s) is, for me, far less important.  Having said that, for the moment, it stands next to my PC on the desk and is quite pleasing to the eye.   :)

Well, we think alike… I think. All newly painted figures stay close to my working area for some time and then I put them on sale. I would like to build armies for myself but I can’t really afford it right now… plus I don’t have the space for it either. So I just put the figures up for sale and said to myself that I always have the photos when I feel like going thru the figures I’ve painted.
