My Colonial Adventure - The beginning UPDATED: 17 July
« on: June 01, 2010, 08:02:30 PM »
The basic idea is to start painting around 50 or so colonials. Then the fun part starts with terrain and all that lovely writing ;)
The photos went to hell, I forgot both the lamps and a macro lense, so I had to do with some shaky pics with various light (it was cloudy today).
Hopefully I'll be able to update this thread with some frequency, and maybe get better pictures of the iniatial batch. Will write up some background story as well.

I know, the pics turned out to be extremely dark in some places. I will fix this soon (my photoshop has started a war against me so I had to do the pictures in a very basic editor) :)

Really nice figures, who makes the crouching one? They deserve better pictures.

Thank you all for your kind words!

Tried to build some generic bushes and elephant grass. It didn't really went that good as the aquarium plats melted when the hot glue touched them (quality stuff I say!). So no pics of that stuff until I've got some new stuff of e-bay.

It's a really funny project this one :)

Looking good!  :)  I do like Foundry's African figures, and you've painted yours very nicely indeed.

Yes the pictures of the figures are a little dark. What is clearly visible though is that they are very well painted. I think this is a promising start 8)

I'm sorry the pics, hopefully I get hold of a camera not worth 20 euros ;)
Took some more pictures, didn't even try to adjust the light in PS, but you get the overall picture. Besides, who can say no to more miniature pics? :)

And as always, what would brother Erfan and Erzan be if it wouldn't be for the human sacrifices of their mother, Zembrand The Witch?
