Projekt X at Salute pictures
« on: May 28, 2010, 03:17:55 PM »
Thanks to some instruction from Agis (thank you!) here are some pictures of the Projekt X game at Salute. A similiar game will be at Partizan this Sunday, so if you are in the locale, please stop and say hello. The game will develope as the year progresses.
We will also have Projekt X and other Scarab Miniatures models for sale at Partizan including the new ones, but they are also for sale on the web site  :D
Thanks to Murray, Ray, Reece and Phil for helping out at Salute, you can see some other pictures here viewtopic.php?f=15&t=313
The pictures.
General set up, thats two Scarab Miniatures forum users in the picture, it was terrific to put faces to names and also meet with some old friends (Tom, Stefan etc)

A view of the game

Down the table with the WW1 game in the background

Finally a picture taken by J.W.G.D

Kind regards

Is the UFO scratch-built? Or do I faintly recollect a 1/48th scale flying saucer out here somewhere?

The kit is from Testors, they do two types.

They are out of production but Lindburgs (check the spelling) may have the moulds. Only a few pieces per kit.

I am going to look at the feasiabilty of making one for sale eventually.

You can see our forthcoming British Zombie Hunters here
They won't be on sale for a while as I am waiting for some more from the sculpter before getting the moulds done

Now these zombie hunters I do like. Minis like these could get me back to addiing stuff to my 1/48 WW2 collection.

As support to these, how about:

A couple of standard figures in this unifiorm with SMGs
A flamethrower
A Vickers K gunner with No 2 (the commando pattern K gun with pistol grip)

Keep up the good work

Yeah, those are top notch. Definately need a couple of flamethrowers in ghost-buster'esque poses...
Those pistols couldn't take out a Zombie....  :D

I love those zed bonkers, and that table is pretty swell too. The camo-netting is a nice touch.
Everything is better with lizardmen.

You have to ask yourself, do you really want to set something on fire that won't feel the pain and won't stop moving towards you because of it... ;)
