German Commandos
« on: June 02, 2010, 09:29:07 PM »
I'm making up some German commandos, similar to Britain's, and want a distinct uniform for them.
I'm using mostly DAK troops in trousers from Black Tree and Artizan but I can't come up with a color scheme I like.
Any suggestions?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

You could paint them in splinter pattern cam (or any of the SS patern cams) & give them Fallschirmjager pattern helmets

if You want them historical You can't use FJ helmets for the Brandenburgers
there were though some FJ commandos as well.

Camo dress and mixed weaponry should be a good idea, so DAK troops in pants seem a good approach

Brilliant paint jobs!
Who makes the figs?

They look, at a glance, to be Artizan Nachtjaegers.
