Easily Swayed By Celebrity?
« on: June 15, 2010, 10:58:50 PM »
Been thinking about getting into Strange Aeons but not sure if the cool kids are doing it? Waffle no more! See horrors top celebs engaging in sordid dice rolling fiasco!

Tony Todd and me gabbing about gaming...he's actually a table top gamer! I also like this shot 'cause it looks like he works at my booth.  ;)

Tony Todd...close talker! Only I know what he said...and it was scary!!!

Me and Sid Haig rolling dice...finally I'm the 'handsome one'... :?

Fan-Boy Uncle Mike and Sid...a wonderful gentleman thru and thru.

Wow, awesome pictures.  Its cool to see celebrities have normal hobbies.

Sometimes you'd think all they do is club, and abuse drugs.

Haha great pics!

There's lots of celebs out there who war game and role play. Although I guess the latter would come easily :/

Tony looks like he may have forgotten something after a recent trip to the restroom.

Awesome!

Now you need to get reviews from them for the web site.

Tony Todd...Is a damn horror icon.

Sweet!

Very good Mike, I would have lost my composure.  Especially when he leaned in real close to talk with me.  Candyman Candyman Candyman....

Night of the Living Dead (remake)
Candyman
The Rock..ok not a horror movie but sweet anyway
Them
Wishmaster
Final Destination

You should check out all his work on IMDB

Was this at a gaming con?  Where were you?

Now there's an Idea!!!

Mike...  Mike....  or you Ben

Somebody with some casting skills.

I think we must have a creepy "Not Candyman" villian.

The character Candyman came in at number 8 on Bloody Disgusting's "The Top 13 Slashers in Horror Movie History"[3] and ranked the same on Ugo's "Top Eleven Slashers"[4]. The actor who played Candyman, Tony Todd, made #53 on Retrocrush's "The 100 Greatest Horror Movie Performances" for his role.[5]

He's also a Colonial Ghost/Boogeyman type figure which could be fielded as a maniac, ghost, cultist or whathaveyou.

Just a thought.....

These shots were taken at the Calgary Comic Expo...really great time, met lots of cool celebs. Chatted with Lloyd Kaufman for the longest time but never got any photos. :? Played a ton of games against a varied group of people. It was great publicity (sales weren't too bad either...) and we will try and make it every year from now on. Thanx again Cousin Cam and Mr.James for all the help with everything!  :D

Never signed the book for Tony...so happy that he was a gamer I gave him a book for free. Even now he could be moving Strange Aeons models with that freeky hook hand of his.  lol

Never got any reviews (that would have been smart...good idea for next time, Sheerluck!) Although Tony said to me (and this is totally true) As he comes up to the booth he says, "Man, this is eye candy!" To which I replied,"No, It's eye candy...man!" He didn't laugh but I guess my goofy smile put him at ease...he was totally cool and we gabbed for ages. Really great guy, and HUGE! I'm a fairly big fella but I was like a midget next to him!

Sid Haig was in the booth next to us and he was a fantastic guy, I gave him a custom made Captain Spaulding model that I've had in my collection for ages. Didn't take any photos of it sadly...guess the only way to see it is to ask Sid. 8) Also, ate apple pie with him (shout out to Cam's Mom! You rule! Thanx for the tasty pie!) A life re-affirming moment for me!  :P

A model of Tony Todd: Candyman would be great! He would make a fine Maniac...or a Mojo, cool Cult Leader...good all around figure. Never asked if I could...(that would have been smart...good idea for next time, Black Cat!) I'm pretty busy, so if it does get done it will be a while away yet...unless someone else gets on it!  ;)

Next year I hope to see some more LAFers in attendance. Well worth the trip...no matter where in the world you live!  :)
