Turk, serb, romanian medievals?

Dear LAF friends. Does anyone know where to find medieval ottoman turks?

And a tricky question. Do you guys know if there are any medieval serbian or romanian 28s out there?

For Turks: Try essex, perry miniatures and other people doing medievals and early renaissance miniatures. Medievals really fall under the crusades lines.
For Romanians  and Serbs try the Wallachians, Serbs, Byzantines and possibly other balkans like slavs, bulgar etc. Many can fall in the lines of Asiatic hordes.

I remember when I collected 15mm, Minifigs had every type you want. Maybe 25/28mm are little more obscure

Ah and try Irregular miniatures the have some muslim eastrners that might fill the gaps!

Old glory has a "Vlad The Impaler & The Turkish Frontier" range of miniatures. And an ottoman one too.

Ral Partha used to make some lovely, 25mm for real (=small) Ottoman Turks.

The Wargames Foundry Polish infantry, in Polish dress, can be converted into Janissaries, but you'd need to carve off the cap and replace it with a sculpted Ak-Bork (spelling ?)  The white-chef's-hat.

The  Old Glory Jannisaries & foot Azabs weren't too bad.  I thought that the cavalry was better.  Which is odd, because with OG I usually think it's the other way around (inf better than cav).

And don't forget to scrounge through the various Pirate lines.  I found a few 'Mediteranian Pirates' that were really Turks.
