The house is old 1926 it was made, and the sloping roof is the stir case, also in there with me is the gas meter that on back wall right hand side below the self and electrical meter you can see on right hand side, I put a cover over the power box, and I don't worry about the gas meter as I don't smoke and council checks it once a year.
The air vent above my head needs a sliding vent put on it, can get a real draft in winter time coming in, that and the window open will also get rid of any bad smells, but saying that the cold air will keep me wide awake in the wee hours of the morning, I tend to come alive then for my hobbies‘.
when I first put the self in I was happy, then I realised that as I could not move to the right due to the power I thought why not extend the self, you can see that, then I put a small self above the paint rack and thought it looked good then it hit me if I make it L shape ill have more self room, so the self was re cut and made to fit around the corner, over all am happy with set up as long as I don't put any more weight on am ok.
I can step in with one leg sit down and swing the other leg around, or just push the seat out on it's caster and get out.
And thank you for your commits.

Blog just got it started need fill it more.

How come everybody's benches are so goddamn tidy?  :o

Do I need to start leaving milk and bread out for the hobby-boggarts or something?  ???

That will get you nowhere. I string up an oxen in the old ash tree in the back every full moon and it keeps the Disorder Banshees placated for little more than two weeks.

So very, very true! Speaking as an Icelandic Canadian, nothing brings a family together like slaughter. :)

I did actually, veeery briefly, consider to start up the live feed while I painted myself. But then it struck me that I would feel like the loneliest man alive... :D

So, all these work bench areas everyone has and I'm betting I'm not alone in realizing one day they look more like this:
