Yes, all mdf. 3mm sheet cut for what you see and some 10mm cut into steps bracing it underneath

Damn, I thought by building a rack that overhangs by a foot would negate that  ;D

You need to watch you don't take too many paints off of the right hand side, at one go lol

I've always been jealous when reading this thread. Some of the set ups here are stunning. Unfortunately I don't have the space for a fixed set up, and until recently I was forced to pack away all my painting equipment when I'd finished. As you can imagine, this prove to be a real drag and actually put me off painting. Annoying me no end I decided to take some action.

I spent quite a few of my lunchtimes working on this project. I took some inspiration for the old GW painting station (quite a bit actually). I also designed the workbench to fit snugly into a shelves on my desk- meaning that I can leave everything set up.

Hopefully this wee bench should increase the frequency of my painting, by allowing me a wee 5 minutes here and there. The material is 6mm sheet acrylic.

Cheers
Andy

Hi, I've recently reorganised the wargame attic into more usable table size!

One of the tables

A quick shot of the workshop.

I generally use this area for making and painting terrain pieces.

Ah ...

Questions Ramirez:

a) who is the lady in the poster?
b) what are the round boxes top left?
c) why is that huge hammer so handily placed? For unwanted visitors?

a - Kylie

b - Cheese boxes, which I though may be useful one day

c  - I live in bandit country and you can never be too careful - what you can't see is the sledge hammer and angle grinder on the otherside of the workshop used for "minor" adjustments.
