I used to be quite organized, but thing have gotten out of hand a bit lately...here's the chaos I work in.

Upper part of my desk:

Lower part of my desk:

Crap to the right of my desk:

Crap to the left of my desk:

Seeing so many tidy workspaces makes me a bit ashamed of my Vortex of Hobbyness...maybe I'll clean up in a while...or maybe not...

No worries over there mate, My desk is normally more like your. I always hid the crap in some closets though, but it is there as well ;)
I guess that most people who don't have a tidy desk don't dare to take a picture, making you a real hero for your bravery!

Another Ikea combo. I've been waiting for it for a long time. Two shelves, a desk and a mix of accessories.

Having been in a bit of a painting slump the last few weeks, I decided tonight to clean off and reorganize my painting desk. It had become cluttered with finished figures, leftover crap from scenery projects, a giant jumble of paints, and real-life stuff that had no business on my hobby desk...

So here it is, in terrifyingly neat array.

At the back left, my artist's inks (black lids), Reaper paints (white lids) with random GW and other paint in between. Moving right, the good paintbrushes in the old superglue bottle, current superglue bottle lurking behind, then the big tin of tools and a random box of supplies.

In the foreground from far left, the swatch cards to remind me what colours some paints actually are, scrap paper for painting notes, miscellaneous figures around the cutting mat, and the scrap CD I use as a paint palette on the right.

One of my projects for this summer is to make some sort of shelf set to fit at the back of this desk, to get the ever-growing paint collection slightly more organized and free up space on the desk for actual work! The desk area is only 32" W x 22" D...

It also only looks this neat about twice a year! Hopefully now I can get going again on the dragons, Cossacks, cavemen and other projects all neatly laid out.

If you need it, it's probably on that table... but you'll have to get me to find it for you.

Oh that's for when people mess with my minis.... uh, er, I mean it's for when I need to water down a large amount of wall compound and don't feel like mashing all the lumps out with a brush.  ;)

Here's a picture of my workbench:

Nothing special but at least a table where I can have my modelling stuff permanently. But it's my computer desk in addition...

Cheers

Unfortunately that's blessing and danger alike. It's nice to have the option to have a movie or audio book running in the background but sometimes that computer stuff consumes too much precious time: Writing / Reading emails or forum messages, preparing posts for the blog, editing pictures, watching ice hockey...  8)

Here's a picture of mine. My (small) gaming table is next to my workbench. On the right wall of this room is a cabinet in which all my minis are displayed.
