Holy crap... What I like most about this thread is that there are people worse than me.

Out of pure curiosity I'd like to sponsor a comparative study if the average American wargamer over a life time hoards a larger leadpile than your average NW European.

Wow, that is some space.......

Thanks. Yes I am fortunate. We moved here just a little over a year and a half ago prior to that everything you see here was in a space 1/3 the size.  :o :o :o I hardly had room to sit and paint. The boxs of figs were stacked 6 feet high and 4 deep. It was a pain to dig out anything when I wanted to play a game. In fact I got rid of a bunch when we moved so it was even more then you see here. I know that when we got here and I started to organize my space I kept thinking how could I have had this much stuff in the last house  ??? ??? ???. Actually I think my last place was like a magic bag of holding  lol

I think it has a lot to do with space and the amount of time you stay in one place.  All of my gaming stuff at my house fits in one 15x10 room but I cheat as a lot of my painted figures and terrain are at my gaming club. As it's been running for over 40 years it has a huge hoard.

I don't think so. I should take some pics of my hoard(s) and my workspace, too, I guess. Don't know if I'm average, though...

I was hoping for a totally modular workplace in which you basically just had just enough space to place your arms, and the rest of the stufff being folded out of cupboards ;)

A full day of work, and more to do tomorrow. It can't be pristine all the time, can it?  :D
