2ft x 2ft Fantasy terrain board
« on: June 17, 2010, 07:15:47 PM »
I'm trying to rein in my wargaming projects, to this end I'm limiting my future projects to games and armies that can be played on a 2ft x 2ft board.

Today after a lovely day in Chorleywood I managed to finish off the base board and some 28mm terrain elements.

Gonna do some 10/15mm fantasy/historical terrain, then start on another board for sci fi/post apocalyptic stuff.

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

That's some beautiful scenery you have there. I'd love to have a similar setup someday!  :)

That terrain looks great. I really like the hill with the cave. Does the hilltop lift off?

Some of the most realistic ground plane I have ever seen. I also like that the dirt/ground matches the tone of the rocks. That gets so missed sometimes. Its the mixture of the weathered rock and organic material that gives us the color of the dirt so it should have some tone of the parent rock in it. Nicely done.
