Horrorclix shoggoth
« on: June 19, 2010, 01:36:02 PM »
A quick and dirty repaint job on a Horrorclix Shoggoth to make it look slightly less, uh, pink than the original  :D  It's on a 40mm base.  Apologies for the lousy photo.

That does look nice.  I'd love to get one, but I just hate working with those damn clicky bases.  How did you get this cute lil fella off his base?

I find that a good sharp craft knife is enough to get the clickies off their bases.  Find a point where you can slide the blade under the mini, then work it in and around the base slowly until the figure pops off.

Freezing the clickies first helps to get them off the bases easier.

Now that's a useful tip  :D

I like this Shoggoth - your "quick and dirty repaint job" is far better than I can manage as a best effort  ::)

I must have a closer look at the Horrorclix range. There are some very nice figures in there.

Very nice re-paint of a clicky!  Less pink is definitely better!
