The "type 2" house doesn't really fit well with the "type 1".

Although it looks like you could probably put two "type 2" houses back to back?

Just picked up another type 2, and they do indeed fit perfectly back to back, with only a little bit of hacksaw work needed to do away with the hinges.

these doll houses are a regular line at Poundland ,i bought a couple last November and i see them in all the time.
The accessories that come with these houses/ shops, such as chairs ,tvs, can be useful too

I bought 4 at the Dollar Store the other day, only 1 of them is the same as the ones shown here, so there are a few different styles. 
I personally got them for the furniture, but the houses do now seem to be useful.
