Too many to list and right across the genre board!

I was talking fantasy, any that match up to Old World (I've got some Foundry and Black Hat in mind)

Otherworld are excellent but I'm more Old World than Forgotten Realms! Pig faced orcs don't do it for me! Might get some of the other figs but not sure many blend with citadel and I can't afford all of them!

First of all, pig faced orcs eare great, no need to discuss this, because it's a fact. :D

The old citadel miniatures mix together very well with Otherworld. The man behind that company, Richard Scott, has the most complete collection of citadel's AD&D-range on this planet:

Part of the reason for him to start OM was to fill the gaps of that range.

I don't think a Porsche is cheaper than collecting the old scenario sets. Most of the figures from that ranges were part of the normal ranges and are not that expensive. So with each set there are not more than five miniatures that are really rare. Be ready to spend 50-100€ for each of the and you have reached your goal.
Okay, I've seen Gimbrin Finehelm being sold for US $355.00 on ebay last October, but I think the prices of that fellow have dropped after six of this miniatures suddenly appeared in Norway so that six greedy collectors were able to grab them. I was one of them:

Now he he is a hero within my planned army of 500 classic Citadel Dwarfs. And he was the 250th miniature painted up that project.

These days I am only missing two of nearly 350 classic Citadel Slotta Dwarfs. The Jolly Jape Dwarf and Dwarf Champion Mace 2. Any help appreciated.
It sometimes really is annoying that certain COLLECTORS only collect certain miniatures, because they are rare, which raises the price.

Most of the villagers and townsfolk sets are not that rare (and most of the faces sculpted by Trish Morrison are not that great).

The only range that really is expensive is the Townsfolk range from 1988. In my opinion the most beautiful range are the Travelling Players by Copplestone (that was were he peaked).

I think it's the right way to collect both classic and new figures if they are nice.

Not that often I am afraid, being a football fan occupies most of my weekends, but once per month my gaming group plays a game, where different guys contribute miniatures and other useful stuff:

You'll be also able to see some of those at next year's Tactica here in Hamburg, Northern Germany.

I know but I haveto tell myself they aren't so I don't buy everyhting, I've already limited myself in terms of looking at the gothic horror board to reduce expsenses! I avoid future warriors for the sme reason

RE the Copplestone does he own the moulds?

Is there any chance of a GW recasting similar to the Dwarf Adventures, I guess not...

All stuff produced by GW stays with them. And sadly Brian Ansell didn't take these with him, when he left GW and joined Foundry. But ass you already know most of the old medieval series of Foundry (Normans, Vikings, Barons Wars, HYW... ) are old GW-sculpts by the Perry twins. There are some nice civilians there as well.

It was said that GW have destroyed most of the classic moulds, because the occupied too much space. :(

The Travelling Players are not that rare, the pop up quite regularly on ebay, so far I managed to obtain two thirds of them. Citizen Sade has all of those:

Hmm upon viewing the picture of the dwarven army, I have that set as well!  There somewhere in the depths of my "cargo bay" (hobby room) somewhere.. maybe under the 800 undead? gah.... time for a cold one drink and put the feet up to ponder where I'd start looking for them.

Tell you what, I'll have a look around your figs to see if I can find them...

Have you got pics of the needed figs?

Have you tried Svenn?

Champion Mace 2

No, but will do so.

There's a chance Wvenn has the mace guy and I might have it, but if so it's in the UK and I'll know at the end of the month...

Lady and Lord Mcdeath go for around 390 quid a pop, for example.

Dave, I think your estimate is a tad high. I think the Lord and Lady tend to go for £100-£200, rarely reaching £300 (Ok, so still not exactly cheap... ;))
