You are doing really great job there! Cheers!!!

Anyone interested.  Ainsty who produce the ships I’ve got are offering 20% odd until end December!  Me thinks I may buy the sloop to complete the set.

Where did your friend find the governors mansion?  Have been looking for one to no avail.

I don’t know but I think I may need to extend my port!

Ok so I was hoping to actually achieve something over Christmas but a chest infection put paid to that!

None the less, orders have been placed for a Reaper Arab pirate, Northstar Hood’s crew, an Ainsty sloop and a shark head and fin!  The sloop now means I’m lucky enough to have all three Ainsty ships.  Once they are all f8nished, I may have to start collecting Blood & Plunder ships! 🤔

I have managed to flash, clean, base and undercoat about a dozen gun crew and scurvy dogs along with 6 foundry canon, two chasers and 6 swivel guns.  So time to do a little painting I think.

I also started watching Black Sails on Amazon following To get me in the mood - so far so good!

Well finally managed to paint the guns from Wargames Foundry.

I love these guns but damn if they are not expensive!

Will need cheaper guns for the next batch.  These six plus the two chasers are destined for my man o’ war.

Maybe these guns are an alternative solution, in my opinion they look very good and they are cheap.

Cheers.  Unfortunately the carriage is devoid of detailing.  I like the gun though.

Another project relegated to the bottom of a box in my garage.  :(

Still, I just came across the finished Blood and Plunder galleon and it has stirred up the desire to dig it out and do something.....

There is just the small problem of convincing the missus to get me an early christmas present! Lol

I had forgotten that it was you that did this (along with so many other) threads.
I don't know how you ever dared to mutter about low output!
As with everything you do, BLOODY WELL DONE.

Peter....I think that’s a little premature considering it stalled years ago! Lol. Thanks though.

It is one I will come back to.

I figured out how to paint the tabletop world houses having done some for my Badgers Chuff project.

And I also realise that with my growing tropical forest, I have an ideal setting for a desert island scenario....

Plus I’ve seen a few ideas on LAF for using yacht varnish to do the sea.

Maybe in a few months......
