Who makes nice desert rocks? I can't find and anywhere, and I am two lazy/unartistic to sculpt them.

Many large aquarium shops stock them.  Near us it's Pets at home.   I pick up all sorts of stuff there.

For example, a quick scan on the net threw up these cactuses, and on page 2, a ready made Arizona rock mine entrance!

I doubt they would be cheap, I know a pain but worth hacking away as some polystyrene to be honest

I personally don't consider those very challenging - you just need some XPS polystyrene, a Stanley knife and some blades, some sanding paper, glue and some cocktail sticks for extra stability.







Those took some two hours (plus drying time), and given it is such a shitty job, if you invest some more time in sanding and texturing, you can easily produce such things. In contrast to other terrain pieces, it doesn't take much skill, just perseverance.
