Projekt X in the Great War- terror in the Alps!
« on: July 14, 2010, 08:09:50 AM »
Rob from Scarab has announced the Project X WWW1  :D

Size of models will be 28mm

Quote from the Scarab forum:

X soldat I revamped to WW1 will be the first model followed by Dr Klaus (with claws) and possibly a larger "frankensteins monster" type super soldier. Then, wacky trench armour and gas masks.

For the italians well they already have wacky stuff with the death company etc, no need to make anything up at all!

Then its the werewolf of mons, the angel (although probably not an angel  ) etc etc..

The range will be very small to start with. Really more of an experiment .

You can have Yetis, Mountain witches anger with being disturbed by all sounds. Maybe a lost Ghost Legion?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Of course, Rommel served in the Carpathians in the Great War.  Could anyone resist Rommel vs Dracula?

But surely Rommel & Dracula would both be fighting for Central powers, Dracula with the Austro-Hungarians & Rommel with the Germans  :D

Shame they can't look to doing the same with the WWWII stuff, anything other than uber soldats a few of the x-soldats and the werewolves just don't work being 1/48.

Looking forward to what they do do though.

Cheers

Or how about Rommel = Dracula!

lol Glad I can be of some helps…

Seriously though I would really like to see some French "nettoyeurs de tranchées" (a little like the Italian Arditi). They could be used in historical setting as well as a weird war one.

I cant remember the name, but I read a Heavy Metal Mag a few years back with a French Cyborg made from the remains of a Foreign Legionary killed in North Africa. They were Using him for cover raids against the Germans in the Great war. Wish I could remember its name.  :?

It also had another Ex Legionary who had some kind of super solder drug, made him able to shrug off wounds and really tare his oppents a new one, the problem is that its addictive and with out it he go's into violent withdrawals an with psychotic rage. o_o

Its also eventually kills its user, and he was the last in a test platoon the rest already ether dead or insane.
