The paint scheme and head swaps really add to these miniatures...the camouflage is up to your usual flawless standard (talented git  ;) ) and really makes these look 'hard sci-fi'.

Excellent work  :D .

Isn't it about time you showed us a few army pix?  What with Warthogs, Pig Iron and the Cadian conversions, you must have a sizeable force by now...unless they were all commisions...

...The Rhinos/Vindicators and Land raiders were always some of my favourites...especially with the Imperial Guard crews.

Thanks, Inso, coming from such a talented painter and sculptor i take that as a real compliment.
I only ever paint singles or small groups of figures - not being a gamer i just paint minis I like and, occasionally accept commissions for minis i'd like to paint. So no army, sorry.
The Rhinos/vindicators, landraiders etc were all commisions as were many of the Pig iron troopers and no longer in my possession.
In my cupboard, finished, are the Hasslefree sci-fi adventures, the recent Pig Iron troopers (and a PI firestorm (?) which I'm 'revisiting') and the very recent Warthog, Consortium trooper and Lt Kara Black all of which slightly different scales and don't sit well together.
More commission work to do and, when i've time, another Warthog, Lt. Black and four consortium troopers as a group (different camo). Not to mention all the Ma.K 1/20 and Hard Graph 1/35 I'd really like time for!
Oh and an Oakley painting guide i should have finished ages ago for Sally...

I 'm curious about the pouches on the troopers backs.  Are they standard or added from the accessory pack?

My small collection of PIP: the only reason why I still claim to have a sci-fi 28 project.
Really must see to those System Troopers on the pile...  ::)
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Very nice.

Could you please tell us the paints you used and post a close-up or two on the pattern?

It looks a lot like A-TACS camo (http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&tbs=isch:1&q=atacs+camo&revid=1896170132&sa=X&ei=QJTATLisPMSblgfhxNziCQ&ved=0CCMQ1QIoAA&biw=1095&bih=712)

I've been trying to figure out how to paint something like that for a long time.  You did brilliantly!

Wow.  I like your work as much as Agis' (and I love his stuff!)

Where are these soldiers coming from?  Not the Pig Iron ones but the taller, skinnier ones.  You pointed me to a French-language site.  I speak French (I married a Berber - she makes Penelope Cruz and Selma Hayak look boring... ;)) but I cannot read French so I am lost in the site.

Great.  They're 35mm - no wonder the detail is so good.

I like them and will look into them.  Thanks heaps!
