The K in Karate [UPDATED 9th of December with more pics]
« on: July 17, 2010, 12:06:08 PM »
stands for Killing with power!

Premiere zombie hunter, with a craving for flexing muscles at every opportunity, and always ready to kick some serious zombie ass.

First of many zombie survivors (hopefully as I got 10+ on the "almost finished, but I don't like the look of that)

I did take the picture with a rather crappy camera, its old, it doesn't really understands what the makro setting is for, and I don't have a proper light box built, yet (and only one light source).
Took the pic to try some new settings for CS4 Photoshop, and I liked them (they were a bit of a hassle though until I got the hang of it).

Sweet, really must get round to mine at some point.

Love the base on this, by the way, very effective.

Cheers for the comments guys!
This is one of my favourite Kev White sculpts, the only thing that really took the piss out of me was his back, which turned into some mutated flesh-place when I was done with the painting. Might have to put a cape on him or something.

Totally agree, base is perfect . Is the base scratch built or resin?

Painted up a villain :)

The base is one of the "test bases" I did to find the best pavement-looking effect. He'll have a change once I started to make 40 of them in a row :)

The tutorial is on its way by the way!

Can't a man indulge in his sexual fantasies involving a ballet skirt, SA uniform and a fake sasch...

I love that mini, and funnily enough the frame of the model (minus the sasch) reminds me of a good friend. I might have to get another one and paint up as a homage :)

The tutorial got the pics. But not the text, it will show up tomorrow :)

Well, I accidently got side-tracked with this project trying to build a board (which got side-tracked by yet another project...). But finally, I've managed to take some pictures and paint up some miniatures! :)

First out is the infamous Maggy. I had plans about her being that crazy version of Madonna that chased after her hubby and fox hunt-protesters around her castle premises. But I did actually forget that when I finished her up... :?

Then the man with the fronts, the axe, the smile and questionable motives...

And at last, a zombie to hunt. Actually the first ever zombie for this game :) Its a pity though that the head is a bit messed up :(
