15mm figure sources
« on: July 25, 2010, 07:27:14 PM »
Hullo all,

Simple question really, where can I buy 15mm Second World War figures? I already know Flames of War (Boo! Hiss!), QRF (ehh...), Peter Pig and Skytrex, but am I missing any?

Thanks
I told you so. You damned fools.

Check out the "WW2 Figures" list on the left frame of Robert Avery's website:

http://www.vislardica.com/

Includes several other options you have not listed.

I've got a few of the True North vehicles and some Polish infantry (they focus on Early War). Nice figures though the vehicles lack smaller detail. You can get these from Old Glory UK - who also carry the Command Decision range and Lil' Flyin Fokkers WW2 aircraft.

Camelot Games in Italy is another manufacturer that offer some obscure items. Their site is difficult to navigate and their product range harder to find. They do a nice range of obscure Italian vehicles and some interesting Russian items. Not the best quality molds that need a fair bit of work to tidy up, but worth a look.

Ah, yes forgot about True North. I've a couple of their figures, but their Romanians are all wearing wrong helmets, which is an issue for me...

I have attempted an attack on the Camelot website in the past, but gave up after a while. Anyone know if their stuff is stocked by someone in the UK?

Forged in Battle looks like they would be really nice and they are quite affordable too.  It's a limited range right now but what you can get looks good.  Has anyone seen them "in the flesh"?
