These are free downloads.  The whole thing at drivethrurpg is not very expensive.

These rules are based off an original D&D clone.  Very nice, retro feel.  Some of the systems do stretch credibility, but what do you want?  It's a superhero game.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

It has the advantage of being the simplest set of superhero rules I have found yet.  Nowhere near as elegant as Champions, but, for the Golden Age and previous, I think it is more true to the genre.
