WOTR Horse

Mindful that I have been asking lots but showing little, I have another question for our panel of experts.   

My WotR army includes a small unit of horse for scouting ahead and for cutting down runners - a mere 15 minis comprising Perrys' 3 sets of scurrers with a couple of multiples.  Being a bit fussy, I want every mini to be different, which is fine with the riders as I have head and weapon swaps planned.  My problem is the horses as across the 15 figures there are only the 3 variants.

Have others tried to introduce variation into the mix of horses?  I know that Perry have the plastic horse coming but I read in another place that they are delayed to next summer.  Are there other options that others have found?

There are more horse types available across the range - most are less active, but another two (at least) would fit if you mix and match from the command packs or standard bearers. That's what I plan to do (yes James, after the Sammies)
