Model T Ford
« on: July 25, 2007, 05:05:02 AM »
Hey All,

At Target this evening I found the coolest thing, a diecast "Lizzie" from the movie "Cars".  It looks like it's about in scale (28mm, that is).  Here's what she looks like:

Granted, the windows are molded in and she has eyes (and a mouth), but with just a little work, just imagine what could be done with her:

or...

or even...

I wasn't able to buy it because I had my kids in tow, and buying a "toy" for me would have necessitated buying toys for them as well.  Still, I may try to pick it up tomorrow and see what can be done with her.

Nice looking model, show us some pics when you have converted it. :)

I picked up one of those recently as well.  Unfortunately she seems a bit rare compaired to the other cars.  Not sure why but there was only one when I found her and there were tons of the other cars.

Do you have a better shot of that military pick up varient?  It's really hard to tell what's going on there.

I've seen those before, the front wheels are replaced with skis, simple to do really.

How funny that someone just responded to this thread.  I think this might have been my very first post.
