It was rather nice to look at. Dr De'Ath was doing stirling work with the back drop too, particularly as his shirt blended so well with it :)
So many projects..... so little time.......

Thanks for the help chaps in hosting the game  :)

Didn't get an award like my samurai game but apparently John Treadaway passed comment to the effect that it trounced any other Mars game, or some such  ???

On to the pictures  :D Some are blurry but I was in a rush and haven't transferred over my camera photos yet.

Oh, and as mentioned, this isn't dead... Not by a long shot  :)

cheers

We need the official photographer "Abdul" Dr De'Ath to post his photos......I think he took some real beauties. ;)

Yep, I saw that piccie of the good Doctor and his Fez.
I also hear that his attire was chosen to blend seemlessly with the background.
Clever fella, that chap.
They don't call him the Doctor for nothing!

Cracking looking game chaps. Good to find old gaming pal Mark there too. What small wargaming world we inhabit!
I've just done the first batch of cards for the game at Salute tomorrow.

We're using a variant of Sharp Practice, which we've named 'Red Planet Ruckus' and the cards are used to determine order of movement etc.

If you're at Salute please do come over and see all of James' magnificent terrain; we're at table GC01 so hopefully we'll see some fellow LAFers there.  If you're really, really, good, Malamute will show you the funicular railway in action.

Cards are photos of the 28mm figures we're using, tinkered with in Adobe Fireworks, printed on card stock and finally laminated in credit card sized pouches.  Hopefully I'll get them all done before tomorrow!

Dr D.
