the only option is to organize a Martian Convention -
or a VSF Convention could be more realistic, maybe with an inaugurational Mars theme,

He's from the Perry Sudan news reporters pack (it's in the extra section of the Sudan range) and he looked suitably Japanese.

I've had to convert a couple of others using Japanese heads and they seem to have worked rather well
