Having a bit of a 'meh' moment with this but I did dig out a samurai encounter suit that I thought you might be interested to see. Not the best picture but you get the idea hopefully.

Nice. Some of the new Warzone figures, much though I don't really like them otherwise, could be used for this purpose to good effect!

Wonderful stuff once more James! Glad you liked my small factory complex too! :D
I hope the splendid walls with railings will be available for we mere mortals soon!

About time this thread saw some action and today we have two offerings  :D

First off, a completed unit of Martian askari or Aak Naks

And then a new clan has come to the fore, the Kaas Ak Thaal, the Takers of Heads (from pg 138, Vol 2 of Von Styfer-Dykes translation of the Martian Sky clans)

Not much is known about this clan apart from their off putting habit of keeping the heads they've taken from the enemy...

cheers

Nice work James. Good to see your Martian mojo has returned :)

I do like the mix of armour colours too - might have to steal that idea for my Aak Naks

My heart shuddered when the name Kaas Ak Thaal was whispered to me by Thak Nar Hip my Martian guide and travelling companion as the emissary of this mighty clan stepped into my tent.
He stood about eight feet tall and was dressed in the traditional red Dhole or loincloth, the colour of Mars, usually worn in tribute to the mother planet. His armour though was jet black, but with an unusual metalic sheen the like of which I had not seen before. My guide later told me this colour was very rare on Mars and used only  by this clan for some long forgotten reason.
The gift he brought by way of tradition was cast upon the floor in front of me with great contempt for my very being. It was a recently severed head from a Japanese officer I had by chance seen in New Victoria only last week..
Taken from the journal of Professor Ebenezar Von Stypher-Dyke, (University of Vienna,)written during his travels on Mars 1888 -1889.

Love em. ;D

Great new additions to the native forces James  8)

Head-taker chaps look to be pretty vicious bunch. I guess it's better to be a head taker than... erm... victim :D

I hear a lot of his work was later stolen by Dr. V. I. Agra and claimed as his own work some decades later.
Not a very upright chap, that one.

Dr Vernon Ignatio Agra was a fraud and a charlaton. He was at best half cocked!
