Makes a change.  ;)

Tower is looking grand, a working crane will be impressive too, as will the glasshouse tea rooms on the top  :D

Glass tea house it is then  :D

I am thinking about swappable tops as well. The actual shape is a bit irregular so the tops will all be based on a square (or round) that fits on it and could be used elsewhere. Ideas include - tea house, folly, fortified gun position, viewing gallery, balloon landing, larger neff landing; the possibilities are endless  :D

Got the lower front doorway and warehouse side cut out tonight and will hopefully make a start on putting them together.

cheers

James

Most impressive already, mate.
I look forward to the glasshouse.

That is the future, mate.
Swap shit around for multi-function.
I can only agree that it makes sense when you start to run out of room and you probably have more shit than me.

I even thought about a Japanese style tea house on the top  lol

Moving on, got the 'front door' cut out and assembled, probably will have a chain fence around the top with a couple of quick firers similar to the signal box section on the viaduct.

Also cut out some bracings for the neff loading platform and the train platform.

More to follow over the coming days  :)

cheers

Looks great! The tower will be an eye-catcher amongst eye-catching scenery! But I do spy that you have missed rivets on the bracing  ;)

Blimey, mate, you really are getting stuck into things at the moment.
 :o

BLAM always seems to make my mind race with ideas for new stuff to add to things but normally I feel like a bit of a break from making stuff afterwards.
Obviously it has the opposite effect on you.

Obviously it has the opposite effect on you.

I had a massive tidy up recently and that always spurs me on as I find things I'd forgotten about and make more room than I had before  :)
