It's not the dice, it's because you have the tactical nuance of a pikeman ;-)

Hello chaps,

Time for a long overdue update  :D

Tonight for your viewing pleasure we have some more Japanese troops, and boat of some sort and the wily enemy  ;)

First off a shot of all the troops I have at the moment...

And then a couple of close ups of the support weapons

A slight close up of the command section

Next I've been working on a Martian tramp steamer (or tug, whatever you want to call it  :) ). It's not based on anything in particular, just a generic shiply form.

Still needs some paint on it which should be this weekend (all being well  ::) )

And finally for tonight a tester model for the wily Chinese enemy  ;)

I've played around with it in Photobucket as the piccy came out rather dark but it doesn't look quite right. Better in the flesh  ::)

Work has progressed on the canals and the armoured gunship and I will hopefully put them up at the weekend.

Thanks for looking, c+c welcome as always (apart from Millymally mully  ;D )

cheers

James

Really nice, Jimbly!   :-*

Looking forward to see how the ship turns out and... I still need to get some of your bases.  Very nice indeed.  One day... I promise.  ;)

Shouldn't you be painting some Jap models as the Chinese? Just to balance it out ;D

I think I have said it before but somehow they seem to paint up better as Nips than Chinks ???

Decent tug job too :o

Who's Millymally Millymally?

I like 'Em anyway, and the boat is rather spiffing ;D

He said Millymally mully who is a bald estate agent of minor stature from down south, now go back to your pdf/photshop publishing unless you have any decent insults to hurl  :)

 lol  lol  lol

You're on form tonight Svennn dear boy  :D

Well, I've got the Foundry Imperial Chinese army set to paint up for the Chinese because I don't think the uniforms for the 'proper' Chinese fit somehow. Doesn't quite seem VSF  :)

It's not the dice, it's because you have the tactical nuance of a pikeman ;-)

We'll have none of that thank you  ;D

Thanks for the encouragement chaps. As always, there will be more to follow  :D

cheers

We all know the only reason that tug is being done as a generic civilian ship is because that way it might make it through a game  ;)

My bad, I thought it was for the aquanauts game. I just presumed it had already been sunk ;D
