Thanks for the comments chaps, keeps a man on his toes  ;)

Well, I had a jolly good day today and amongst other things I finished off the Martian canal tug (sans ensign which will be added later as soon as I can get our stupid bloody printer to work  ::) )

First off we have it with just a coat of paint...

And then with relevant washes, drybrushing and weathering etc.

There are some more photos and a bit of a write up over at my blog...

That is a really good army you have there :-* :-* :-*
The tug boat is cracking. Is there a reason for building it or is it just because ???

Thanks very much chaps  :)

@ Andym, the deck was painted with a base coat of Foundry Palomino light and then given four or five washes of varying shades of brown ink until I was happy with the result, I then dry brushed it with Palomino normal and then the light shade and finally touched in the recesses with the black GW ink (can't remember the stupid name  ::) ).

@ gamer Mac, it has been built for a reason that will become apparent at BLAM  :D

I should have some more on the armoured gunship ship later this week.

cheers

James

Just a smallish update tonight  :)

More work has been done on the armoured gunboat and the defense platform.

I've still got the aerofoils to make for the gunboat as I ran out of halfround  ::) and there is still plenty to do on the defense platform but hopefully from this you can see where I'm going  ???

The platform is three sided but it will have a 'front' of sorts. I'll be doing more on it over the bank holiday  :)

cheers

James
