A vulgar display of detail!

You'd have to be a professional modeller to appreciate that!  ;)

I saw parts of this at the BLAM and I must say it looks the business even in real life under finger scrutiny.

Where are the turrets & hatches etc on your catalogue?

Fantastic James!! ;D ;D Is there going to be enough ways for models to move up and down, around the wall? What attaches to the wee door halfway up?

Hmm, I know I was talking about combat engineers but I hadn't intended breaching machines..... >:D

Tripod siege towers....
Martian "hang-gliders" (like flying squirrels).....
Grappling hook launchers with rope ladders attached....
Tunneling machine - why go over if you can just appear behind? or Martian burrowing creatures (Starship Troopers bugs?)

Funny you should suggest these two, as they are already under development... ;)

Nice colouration on the brickwork, it is really effective.
The green doors, ladders etc add a nice touch of colour.
 :-*

The only problem is: it does appear that the General does not approve and is considering chucking himself off of the wall......wouldn't Seppuku be more traditional?
 ;)

Thanks chaps  :)

Questions in order...

The turrets etc are going to be on the Red Planet Miniatures website but not until after Warfare.

I'll be making a few sets of stairs and doors and maybe even a lift to get access on to the wall top and the little door will have a set of stairs leading to it and also a connecting walkway to the docking station, both to be moveable.

Seppuku in mid air is something never tried before  ;)

Below there's anothe close up of the wall top door and also some telegraph poles that will run with the railway. The idea will be to temporarily string some thread between them when games are played.

If I get a chance tomorrow I'll set up the station Mesa, although its only in a very basic form at the moment on some boards.

cheers

Lovely stuff :-* :-* :-*
Is all the railway going to be raised along the length of the board?
I too like the green contrast on the doors and things

Thanks chaps  :)

That's the idea Colin, all 12 foot of board  ::) lol

There will be an iron/girder bridge to cross the canal and also planned is a coal depot and a small station with lifts.

I suppose I had better finish painting the Raas Ak Naa clan.... ::)

Yes, you had  lol

New Victoria walls...

With all the Japanese troops in the city, I would have think it would be renamed New Tokyo by now… ;D

Seriously, very nice work. Can’t wait to see the final product! 8)
