I thought the customs did not catch it but they did. Tried to use the packing slip of 30 dollars and they didn't believe it
notw there's a good chance the box will go back to the States... so I recommend not using the pdf that CMON suggest you to use.

not sure they asked me today twice for more information and I said I don't have. I gave them a link to kickstarter zombicide page and said I did not pay directly for the game but for enabling the company to produce it. I just got a gift for doing so

Ah yes, but paid for or gifted that's all the same for customs. They only care about the value of the imported items.
Retail price for zombicide is $89.99 on CMON, so they'll probably use that as reference (if they find the site)

All the invoices etc were still on the outside of my package, don't know if it would help at all but I can take a photo of it on the box with the values etc?

Thanks for the help but they settled for the game value 30 + shipping value of 54 dollars so 84 in total and now they calculate the tax.. It will be about 20€ little over so that's ok. Would have preferred not to pay but this is better than counting the price from the pledge 160 plus shipping

Well, not to rain on your parade, but when the rest arrives, customs can put a value on those too, so extra taxes are a possibilty
Ofcourse, there's always the possibilty that package is too small to draw attention...

On another note, we played a game @ our club tonight and had lots of fun (not in the least with the massive amount of zombies.)
One guy brought along his Ipad with the stat sheet app and boy, it was way better than the plastified stat sheets.
no fiddling with the experience level arrow, automated dice rolls/re-rolls for the weapons equiped and warnings when is character reached the next level.
It almost made me wanna buy an Ipad.
One remark from some players was the player sequence, which seemed a bit odd for an everyone against the board game. Those guys are used to play Decent and chose the order of gameplay.
Also, I had the characters picked at random, and one strated with slippery (Josh), while the second one (Wanda) got the skill at orange level.

How is the casting quality of the miniatures? Maybe somebody can post some close up shots of the castings. That would be great

the quality of the minis is fantastic. There are a few threads showing them already.


btw: I ended up paying only 15€ and got the package from the customs woohoo

now if I only had the time to play
