actually there shouldn't be a problem with the paint scraping off - I always build my models with as much moving parts as possible, and I never had problems with that
I agree that the magnet solution is the least complicated though

Cheers for that , I started adding some details tonight and am getting a bit more excited about doing the project . I'm still itching to finish the other things I put asdie to do this though. ::)

One thing though are you going to leave the tyres as they are or are they going to have hub caps ???
I seem to remember the original had almost solid wheels ???

Not sure about the wheels , I think that they are a bit big but the Bling looks quite good. lol

I have worked out ( in my brain ) that if I make the rails out of the same magnets I use for my basing and a washer under the turret then I should be able to make a movable turret .

PS just joking about the wheels , I am going to stick large Hubcaps on them .
