So,
1.) I hope this is the right place, and
2.) I hope that I haven't missed this very same discussion, held previously, thus making me look foolish.
That being said...
What's with these Perry Plastic Horses? I mean, they're very nice sculpts, but they seem pretty darned big to me. I've compared Perry plastic humans to their current metals ones, and they're the same size. But when I compare horses, the plastic ones seem much larger, and with larger (as in rounder) chests. They are not only taller than the metal Perry horses, I compared them to Egyptian Cuirassier mounts, but... Well the Egyptian horses have sort of narrow & tall chests by comparison.
Just wondering. Were the metal horses smaller, because of the expense of the material? The expense of postage/shipping. Do the plastic chests need to be bigger because they're hollow?
Just wondering,
MW
PS - Many years ago when GW came out with plastic horses these too seemed bigger than their metal ones.
