a few paints of my little guys.
« on: August 30, 2010, 04:55:50 PM »

I sculpt the line of figs for Strange Aeons, I'm new to LAF and to forums in general, so I think I've done this right but we shall see. these are a few of my paint jobs on a couple of the standard strange aeons figs and a few one of a kind custom figs. I've only been painting for maybe two years so feedback is always appriciated.

Great painting.  Love the two custom figs, especially the one standing on the Egyptian head.  Her hairstyle and face are great.

Really like them, specially the girl stepping on the egiptian head.

Thanks for sharing.

Really good stuff!

Is that a trick of the perspective; or, for the 2-gun girl standing on the Egyptian head, did you intentionally paint her eyes mostly black and then add a reflection to her pupils? Never thought of doing that ...if that is what you did.

Either way, good models; and  I really like the flesh tones you achieved on them. I'm still a bit adverse to injecting to much colour into flesh tones beyond shading (etc).
