Dwarven Conquistadors and the undead menace!
« on: August 30, 2010, 10:06:02 PM »
My modem died in early August, which did have the side effect of making me concentrate on my projects. One of which was a crew of Dwarven Conquistadors, a project that started with a trio of RAFM sculpts. Over the years since I purchased that blister, I've been wanting to fill out a crew, and eventually I did. Some are conversions of D&D figs, others of GW LoTR Frodos. And the heavily armoured ones were real scratchbuilding jobs...

(The ships are scratchbuilt, but are made for the ex-Flagship Games game Pirates! )

Oh wow- reminds me of that article in white dwarf several lifetimes ago...  I probably still have it here- game plywood templates to make galleons.

Forgeworld should consider a seas of Mordheim ships range!

Quite fancied playing Man O' War when it first came out years back but never had the spare cash - playing something like it in 28mm has got to be a blast!

Any close-ups of the crew?

I've got a lot of other things to put up (not just in the miniatures world) and to catch up first. Maybe later this week.
