List of Weirdness
« on: July 07, 2010, 12:30:58 AM »
Has anyone compiled a list of all the Weird figures that can go with WWW II?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Incursion, Tannhauser, some Pig Iron (for Russians), Wargames Factory (for Germans), and although really a WWW1 game, I'll add 1999 to the list as well.
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

On the Darkson forum we have a running list with links.

let us know on the forum if we are missing any links and we will make sure to add them.

Cheers,
Robert

Their site seems to be down at the moment but MIG have a couple of beautiful WWW2 walking tanks.

They aren't cheap, almost 60 Euros, but they are gorgerous.

The same thing goes for the 1:35 scale DUST model kits, utterly gorgeous but coming in at over $100.

Really makes me want to start practicing how to build with plasticard, cause I reckon I could make similar vehicles for a fraction of the cost if I got my skill up.

As suggested in a previous post, I made this list (and the "regular" WW2 one to go with it) a while back. Although it could use a few small updates, I think it's still pretty good.

All those big blocky walkers make me wonder if people would be interested in a laser cut walker group project!

A company called Valiant Enterprises appear to have acquired the Clan War range, White Knight's list as one source for good Japanese figures. It would have been maddening to follow the range after it's initial demise, just googling to see if anyone now makes them I came across two or three different companies that were supposed to have bought the moulds.

Also some interesting general gribblies in the 32mm Fantasy range. A couple of genuinely disturbing daemonic thingbies which is always nice.
