Cyclone Fence
« on: August 31, 2010, 11:29:19 PM »
Yep, worked up a proof of concept for cyclone fencing for modern games, including of course zombie games!

As I mention in the article, for my actual construction process I will cut the mesh on a 45 degee angle so as to generate the typical Diamond pattern of cyclone fencing. The top wire barrier is my concertina wire rolled smaller coils.

Looks fine Alfrik.

The 45 degree cut is o.k. for that type of fence but leaving it as 90/90 is also o.k. for steel-mesh fences.

My property has several fence lines (without the razor wire, thank Mithra) of this type (about 50mm aperture). It's turned at the top for rigidity and safety.

You can take it out to around 200mm aperture (too lazy to do the scale calculation for 28mm at the moment) as "pig-wire". Don't let the horses near it though as they'll damage themselves.
