I have often wondered about using the large brother of the drones as a single seater Grey ship.  The Remora from ForgeWorld Link Here

Basically cut the Grey in half and add a bubble canopy on the top.

Shame about the cost though  :'(

Nice work though on the drones - love the colour scheme.

I went to the site, but saw the IA versions, and said to myself, what's he complaining about. Then I saw the price of the others...

Still, while I'm not sure about the size, $16GPB a ship is hardly a knucklebuster. Be aware, though, you have to buy two.

Doug

PS Of course, 'what's he complaining about' from a fellow who is all about the bargain bin diving...

Not terribly big, but still certainly intimidating.

Do you plan on making any chrysalids or mutons in the future? Those two were some of the most scary gribblies I think. Chrysalids mangling operatives after emerging from beyond vision range and then disappearing from sight during night-time terror missions... Eeeesh! And mutons being as tough as they are is all the more worse when you don't notice them on-screen because they're the same damn colour as the ground. I've propped an agent or two a few cells away with rather obvious outcomes. :-X

I keep thinking of attempting an X-COM/UFO game with minis, but it's just more easier to play one of Julian Gollup's fine alien-related tactical games on my computer. Though making the figures just for making them would be fun.
Everything is better with lizardmen.
