Hi guys was wondering if anyone knows of any manufacturer who does a 'brute' figure as seen in the D20 wierd war stuff.  HAve looked through all posts here and havent noticed one, but with my eyesight I am not surprised.

Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Stephen

IIRC, the Brutes were "inspired" by the scene in American Werewolf in London where the german dressed demon like things gun down "The Americans" family. They still look alot like Orcs in German uniforms.

Pinnacle used to do a box set of Brutes. But visiting Jeff Valent Studios and the Great White Game store doesn't show any in their online catalogs.

If you really wanted some, I'd start by asking Jeff Valent if he still can cast some up. I think he was the caster for those models in the first place, and since he still sells some of the Weird War miniatures ... he might still have a license to cast/sell them. It's a long shot though.

If that doesn't work, try asking over at Great White Games ... they might have some floating around.

Not much help,

Leadasbestos that is exactly what I am after. Ran a wierdwar roleplay game last weekend and needed a couple of them for the training mission for the PC's - we train people hard in the OSI! We only gave them blanks in case they hurt someone.. The Brutes had real ammunition ...and the odd hand grenade. Fortunately for them they all survived! Training has been stepped up now!
Cheers for the imput chaps!
