Day by Day Armageddon and the second book in the series are excellent reads. By far in my opioin one of the best zombie series I have ever read.

I second the Walking Dead, excellent series and the art work is great.

World War Z as great. Had some very detailed stories. Loved the concept about it being written after the outbreak.  Heard that Brad Pitt has bought the movie rights and is considering staring in it.  Would be interesting.

I was not impressed with the suvival guide comic, read it in 15 minautre flat as it was all pictures and very little words.

I've read Day by Day but hadn't realized the second one was out yet. What's it called?

It's called Day by Day Armageddon: Beyond Exile. IMHO it's better than the first.

For viewing, I think the beginning of 28 Weeks Later is one of the best opening sequences for a horror movie ever. Never mind the rest of the film, the start of that film is great zombie stuff.

Dying to Live is pretty good.  Kinda of a short book.  Patient Zero isn't bad either.  Feels like a covert action book with zombies in it.

Highly recommend. One must be prepared for the Zombie Apokalypse.

Movie wise, I liked 28 days later, Shaun of the Dead is fantastic, Zombieland was great too. 28 weeks later had, as said, a creepy beginning, but the rest of the movie somehow didn't entertain me much. Dawn and Land of the Dead were in contrast quite entertaining.

Anime wise: Highschool of the Dead is good, but more often than not the Fanservice ruins the whole show....

One of the best! Belongs in the top 5 zombie books in my opinion. The morningstar strain saga with plague of the dead as the first book is really a great read. And so is the 2nd book in the series - Thunder and ashes" Unfortunately the auther Z. A. Recht AFAIR passed away last year at a very young age, so we might nevet get the end of the story  :'(

RIP
