The miniature world is full of "likenesses" of the not-Arnold from terminator, Not-John Wick, Not-Mad Max variety. I wouldn't presume to know Brother Vinni's level of astuteness in the business world, but I trust that he knows what he is up to.

The difference being these come with their own toy and ‘collectibles’ ranges. Those people tend to get upset at unauthorised use of their IP.

As does Terminator, Alien, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc etc, and I think you can swing a dead cat and hit a "not Jedi" or a "not Terminator" knock off.

Look, I appreciate what you are saying, but ultimately you are worrying about something that doesn't affect you whatsoever, and likely isn't "new information" based on the fact that BV is running a successful company with his own line of "not Fallout" figures (which I own and love) despite a healthy amount of licensing and fussing from Bethesda. Whether I'm right, you are right, or there is some third version of this doesn't matter. BV is the only one who has to deal with it. You and I get to sit back and purchase fun miniatures while they last.

I doubt that will be very effective when dealing with Russia. Or China, for that matter, with all the recasts done over there. Btw, there have been many "April's" over the years, and you cannot just call any young lady with a mike IP'd.
