This is indeed a beautiful sculpt, but he doesn't really look like a Viking to me.

I can live with the haircut but the boots are pushing it a little bit. They look about 1,000 years off to me, even if I have to admit they look spiffy on him.

True enough Duke, he probably doesn't look like a historical Viking. But he looks a heck of a lot like Travis Fimmel in the role in the TV series. Honestly don't think I've seen a better realised 28mm caricature of a TV / movie character (although Mr Hicks' set of the movie characters version of Chard, Bromhead, Bourne and Hook from 'Zulu' for Empress is right up there).
