Yanks!
« on: September 08, 2010, 10:22:51 PM »
After not having picked up a brush since before Christmas, I finally got myself organised enough to paint again.  The result is here - Eureka's Sgt Steel and his dogfaces of Easy Company.  Numbers are about right for a squad, but the balance of weapons is not quite from the TO&E.  Only one rifleman, but 5 tommygunners, 2 bazookas, a flamethrower, a BAR and a .30.  They were fun to paint, and will soon be facing a zug of the new Warlord plastic Germans!  (they will also be joined by a Company B Stuart tank with a special 'advisor'!)

They look good!  But your white balance looks a little off... Unless you're using a pumpkin for your light box?

Light box?  Nah, I just plopped them on the shelf and clicked away!  Maybe on the weekend I'll get some shots using natural light, though.

Nice miniatures. I was completely unaware of this range. I like their eccentricity. :)

Some slightly better photos, plus reinforcements!  (and yes - I know about the error but I'm not going to fix it!)
