Vatican Civil War
« on: September 09, 2010, 05:41:27 PM »
Well it doesn't have to be the Vatican or a civil war but it seemed like an interesting idea. Could easily be used against Zombies...

28mm tall figures

Priests

Monks

Group

Swiss Guard, Nuns, Cardinals and the Big Cheese himself are all planned.

Cheers

Only one thing comes to mind: "I kick ass, for the Lord!".

The theme alone cracks me up, and the execution is nice indeed.

The ones with Tommy guns would be perfect for the resistance of Crete during ww2.

Not so sure about the priests (mainly because of the M-16) but I do like the monks with thompson 8)
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Love the monks, but not so sure about the other ones.  I'd like to see more accessories identifying them as religious people, such as the cross the fourth one is bearing.

Ahh, these are nice as cultists!
Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins

I strangely agree... Maybe some more weapon variations?...Pistols or pump shotguns would be nice  ;)
But your work is simply AMAZING, nonetheless...
Yearly painting challenges only show me how useless I am at painting...

Upon further viewing...I'd like to see priest 2 and 4 dressed like monks. Priest 2 with a remington 870...

Maybe armed with some more colonial era weapons. Might make an interesting unit for a vsf army.
