Those look great!  Mick really has a nice, clean sculpting style.  Always impressive.

Love the footknights - certainly want a pack or two or three when they become available!

By popular demand, some size comparisons of the upcoming Sea Elf conversion parts and a look at the relative size of the landgriffons to a humansized rider.

First off, some examples of the Sea Elf conversion bits used with some Perry Miniatures plastic arms (and one head). As you can see, the Elf bodies and Perry bits look like a marriage made in heaven and should allow for some good customisation opportunities.

I don't have access to my current edition GW plastics at the moment (stored away since the move), but I did have these 6th edition state trooper metal command bits available (head and arms) and I think they work pretty well.

Finally, a very limited couple shots of the elf bits used with each other (heads, bodies and arms separate). The fifer arms work best on the female torso, as they were designed for it, but they can be made to work with most of the others with a little extra TLC.

Moving onto big beasties, here are a few shots of the landgriffons with an old GW knight panther. As you can see, the size in itself works well enough, but the crouched pose of the feline paws make it look a bit low to the ground compared to a warhorse.

Some of those conversions look like they were planned in advance :) Beautiful.

I've almost no interest in a mass battle fantasy game but each post makes me think about getting some sea elves :)

The elves are very tempting.

The griffons are brilliant sculpts; struggling to think of a use for them though (as I don't collect dwarfs at all) but they are very very nice.

The Elves have a WONDERFUL swashbuckling look to them...a definite improvement over the G.W. Cone Head style. The pointing Elf Babe does get The Supremes "Stop in the Name of Love" whirling through my mind(?), but she is cool nonetheless. GREAT WORK!

It will be cool to see how those elf conversion bodies fit with the Pro Gloria/Warlord plastic Landsknechts when they are eventually released.

That elven drummer is particularly nice.

Great stuff WK, the land griffons are great, and as mentioned before the sculpting on the knights is very clean and lovely.

I like the sea elves too - great conversion opportunity!

The final three variants of the generic footknights by Mick Darpa to make up the first set of five. The weapon hands are separate and interchangeable (sword, axe, hammer and morningstar options).

This one has vibes of the old marauder ones:

All five variants:

Meanwhile, here's another update, this time for the second set of generic renaissance footknights by Mick Darpa: knights with twohanded swords. These will get some more variants after moulding to make up a second set with different heads.
