Fig and Flag questions

I have a couple questions I would like to put out to this group.

First, has anyone used TVAG flags for the “Great Game” period?  Will they actually work for standard bearers on the land? Anyone have pictures with these mounted on standard bearers?

Second, for the 1920’s period would Boxer Rebellion Chinese work for peasants/bandits?  I am thinking of making a unit of spear armed Chinese.  I think I should be safe since they don’t have a uniform, and I also safe to assume that fashion didn’t change in the 25 years after the Rebellion?  I was also thinking of using a couple rifle armed Chinese to mix in with Copplestone’s Chinese Bandits, how well does Redoubt and Copplestone match up scale wise?  Would one tower over the other?  Plus if anyone has pictures of these figures from the two manufactures together that would be nice.

Redoubt Boxers and Copplestone miniatures will work ok together, the Redoubt Boxer range Chinese figures are 26mm foot to eye. 28mm tall.

They should look ok as 1920 bandits.
