someone should try and steer this back on topic

Sorry, we're just being cowardly and hiding behind the puns. Back to the discussion and chewing the cud...

Ok, do you use these rather lovely cows as plunder markers in Pig Wars?

I think I answered this earlier in the thread but I'm scared to go look  ;)

I was surprised how many of us followed the herd and contributed...

On a serious note, it is traditional for at least one of the animals to have a bell hung from it, often a simple copper one in Africa. When that cow moves, the others tend to follow it keeping the herd together. It's also useful if their horns aren't working.

Yes that would be a god detail to include.

Rob

P.S. Should you decide to post some nice pictures of well painted (and your cows are very accurately painted by the by) sheep, you should know better by now.

I wasn't sure which period they were for and I had no doubt that you'd also neglected to photograph the sides where you'd done an excellent rendition of their branding.

:)

Not only do Cows have Eartags (one in each ear), but they even have their own passports, and that is not bullshit!

The cow passport office is in your patch of the world isn't it? technically it's only cattle that are going to enter the food chain that need passports, which basically means all of them anyway, one of those strange government decisions. In fact as far as I know the only cattle in England that don't have ear tags are the wild herd in Northumberland, not sure on their passport status they may have diplomatic immunity.

I did actually think about it, but then decided I couldn't be bothered painting tiny numbers on their back ends. :D

It is indeed, I worked for them till 15:12 Pm today, when I was made redundant, hoorah!

Its an awful place, we used to get the passports sent back covered in shit, dripping with blood and on one jolly occasion stuffed in a cow organ of some description. Oh how we all laughed! Some Farmers are such wits.

Mind you, a now ex colleague, up until last week, thought that you got milk from all cows, male and female. I dont want to know how he thought the males where milked. He's only 24 poor lad...

Sorry to hear that, hope you can find something else reasonably quick,

And I hope you never sent that ex-colleague out for milk

Thankfully he was never on milk duty.  :-X

Though he was possibly the oddest person I have ever had to sit next to in a work environment. He was once nearly fired due to admiting he had been pleasuring himself in the work toilets, he believed me when I told him goats where all male sheep, he has a signed picture of David Milliband on his desk, framed for all to see... and there are many other risque and unmentionable storys about him.

Thankfully I am one of the lucky ones, I've a new and much improved job starting on Monday! So just one day of unemployment. Then back to the real world and I'll have to work my arse off again  :D

I actually have a serious question - where did you get the cows from?

I want some for a wild west game.
