Miniature modification
« on: September 26, 2010, 02:48:41 PM »
Hi,

I have been planning a zombie game and was selecting figures to make up various groups of survivors, I needed a waitress figure but could only find this one.

http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/50118

She would be ok but i wanted her holding a pistol rather than a stein of ale, has anyone got this figure and if so could they tell me if the ale would lend itself to an easy removal and replacement with a pistol, I can't tell from the pic whether its rear half is welded to the fig or not.

Alternatively if anyone has seen a suitable alternative point me in it's direction.

Also I haven't modded a figure before so any advice / pointers on such thing would be useful.  This is my first foray back into tabletop figures since 13 (now 40:P)

The conversion would be easy.  Clip off the stein hand and pin on a hand holding the right pistol.  Search Reaper for "Pistol" for something appropriate.

Or could you use Felicity from Hasslefree.

She just need the obligatory apron out of milliput or greenstuff and perhapd get rid of the scarf.
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.
