ACW2 Fire in the Valley Battle 6 Report

Bank Robbing done by professional forces! In the sleepy morning hours the garrisoned town of Woodland had its bank attacked by 3  Constitutionalist forces. The Nationalist forces in the town were caught unawares until gun fire was heard in the bank. Of the 3 forces, one got away from its over watch position in a Tavern next to the bank, one unit fled east out of town and suffered a few casualties, while the force that went west, past the local cat house came under a withering fire from partially clad nationalist troopers in the upper floors areas.

Press report,Central California Communist Party (CCCP), The people's forces recovered resorces taken from the downtrodden people by the greedy industrialist of the Town of Knights Landing, near Woodland.  Two squads of Consitutionalist forces joined the raid but mostly they just got in the way.  Luckily they did draw away some fire and reduced casualities in the ranks of the Peoples forces.  The Constis also silenced a nationalist truck mounted Machinegun.  The peoples forces however were unique in the success of getting the funds necassary to develop a new and improved army.  The forces of Facism beware, the people will triumph!!!  We are also proud to announce that Faction Leader is awarded the "Hero of the Revolution" medal this battle and it was not awarded Posthumously as previously has been the case for officers awarded this particular award. 


The game was a lot of fun and very different in its core objective from a normal wargame.  The number of civilians in the way also made for a challenge.  The one squad of Constis took more then a few casualties, losing 8 out of 10 guys.
